Terms and Conditions
Last updated 5 November 2026
These terms cover the work I do for clients. They’re written to be read, not to bury anything. If something here conflicts with what we agree in writing for your project, what we agree in writing wins.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you (the client) and Gabrielle Sanchez, an independent content systems and operations consultant based in Spain, operating as gabbiesanchez.com.
2. What I provide
I help businesses run their content better, across four areas:
- Content operations & strategy: editorial planning, frameworks, production workflows, calendars and distribution
- Workflow design & automation: process mapping, request intake, approvals, assignments, notifications and integrations
- AI-powered content systems: AI-assisted research, repurposing and production, always with human review
- Content infrastructure: content databases, editorial dashboards, project management systems, SOPs and reporting
What’s included in your project is whatever we agree in writing before work starts. Anything not written down isn’t included.
3. Quotes, fees and payment
Any figure or timeline I give before we have a written agreement is an estimate: my honest read of the work based on what I know at the time. It binds neither of us.
Fees, the payment schedule and any deposit become fixed only when they’re set out in writing (by email or a signed proposal) and you’ve confirmed them. If the work turns out to be materially different from what was described to me, I’ll tell you before continuing, not after.
Costs owed to someone else, such as software subscriptions, paid tools, automation platforms or AI services your system needs, are yours, and are normally paid directly by you or passed on at cost.
4. Changes to scope
Requests outside the agreed scope are new work. I’ll tell you what they add in time and cost, and you decide whether to go ahead. I won’t quietly absorb them, and I won’t quietly bill you for them either.
5. What I need from you
Projects stall on inputs, not on effort. To keep yours moving, you agree to provide:
- Access to the tools, accounts and people the work depends on
- Information about your current process, honestly shared, including what isn’t working
- Feedback and approvals within a reasonable time
If a project goes quiet on your side for more than 60 days, I may treat the delivered work as complete and invoice for it.
6. Confidentiality
I treat your internal processes, data, content and business information as confidential. I use them only to do the work, and I don’t share them with anyone else unless you agree or the law requires it.
7. Ownership of the work
Once the agreed fees are paid in full, the systems, documents and workflows I create specifically for you are yours.
- Third-party tools and templates (for example Airtable, Notion or automation platforms) stay under their own licences and terms. You get the right to use them as part of your system, not ownership of the tools themselves.
- I keep the right to reuse general methods, frameworks and know-how I bring to every project. I’ll never reuse your content, your data or anything specific to your business.
I may mention that we worked together, or describe the work in my portfolio, only with your permission and with confidential details removed.
8. Third-party services
Your system may rely on services I don’t control, such as project management tools, automation platforms or AI providers. I choose them carefully, but I’m not responsible for their outages, price changes or decisions to discontinue a product.
9. Limitation of liability
I’ll carry out the work with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that:
- My total liability for anything arising from a project is limited to the amount you actually paid me for that project
- I’m not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunity
- Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law
AI-assisted outputs are always reviewed, but you remain responsible for checking and approving what you publish.
10. Ending a project early
Either of us can end a project in writing. If you end it after work has started, you pay for the work completed to that point, at a fair proportion of the agreed fee. If I end it, you owe nothing for work not delivered.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Before anyone goes near a court, we agree to try to sort things out directly and in good faith. If you’re a consumer, nothing here takes away rights you have under the law of your own country.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when we agreed the work, not a later one.
If anything here is unclear, ask me before we start rather than after: gmpsanchez@gmail.com.
